Private Lake for Fishing & Swimming
Our 15-acre spring-fed lake is one of the most beloved features of Diamond Lure. Bring your fishing gear and cast for largemouth bass, channel cats, bream, and some of the largest grass carp around. View & Upload fish photos! Prefer a swim? There’s a designated swimming area perfect for cooling off on warm afternoons.
Note: Campers only. No fishing license required. Fishing is catch-and-release, and swimming is at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times. Have fun but be safe!
Boat Launch & Lakeside Games
The heart of our campground! Bring your kayaks, paddleboards, or canoes and take advantage of our convenient boat launch area. While we welcome human-powered fun, motorized watercraft are not allowed to preserve the peacefulness of the lake.
After time on the water, kick back and relax at our
dock sitting area, or challenge friends and family to a game of
horseshoes or corn hole along the scenic lakefront.
On-Site Nature Trails
Explore scenic wooded trails right here on the property. We have 2 miles of trails that are perfect for a morning walk or an afternoon hike.

As you explore the scenic trails around Diamond Lure and beyond, remember—you’re in the heart of the North Georgia mountains, where wildlife still roams freely. While most encounters are harmless and rare, it’s always wise to stay alert and respect nature. If you do come across any unanticipated wildlife, stay calm, give them space, and let them move on. It’s all part of the adventure!
Playgrounds for the Kids
We have two playgrounds on-site where kids can run, climb, and burn off some energy. It’s the perfect spot for families to relax while the little ones play safely in the great outdoors.
