Diamond Lure Campground

Location and Directions

Do not depend on GPS systems to get you to our campground. They are very unreliable in this part of North Georgia and have been known to take you over one lane gravel roads at times. This is particularly true if your settings ask for the shortest route. We are easily accessed via Georgia Hwy 52 and Clear Creek Road.

From Atlanta, take I-75/575 north to GA 515. In Ellijay take Hwy 52 East to Clear Creek Road which turns South (right) off of Hwy 52. The Corner Store will be on your right and Mac Aaron's apple house on the left. Proceed a quarter of a mile and take the first left hand turn onto Diamond Lure Road. You will enter the campground in about one-half mile.

From Blue Ridge, come south on GA 515. Exit to Hwy 52 on the left and turn East. Follow 52 to Clear Creek Road. The Corner Store will be on your right and Mac Aaron's apple house on the left. Turn South (right) onto Clear Creek Road. Proceed a quarter of a mile and take the first left hand turn onto Diamond Lure Road. You will enter the campground in about one-half mile.

From Hwy 400, take Hwy 136 West in Dawsonville. Merge with Hwy 183 North. Stay on Hwy 183 for roughly two miles then turn West onto Hwy 52 at the round-about. In approximately 10 miles turn left onto Clear Creek Road. You will have just passed B J Reece's Orchards on your right and you will turn just before the Corner Store. Proceed a quarter of a mile and take the first left hand turn onto Diamond Lure Road. You will enter the campground in about one-half mile.

From Chattanooga, take I-75 South to the Hwy 41/76 (Dalton Bypass). Travel East on Hwy 76 to Chatsworth (Hwy 76 joins Hwy 411 South). Go South/East on Hwy 411 to Hwy 282. Turn East on Hwy 282/76 to Ellijay. Follow Hwy 76 bypass (Industrial Blvd.) to 1st Avenue. Turn Left on 1st Avenue and immediately right on to Hwy 52 East. Follow 52 to Clear Creek Road. The Corner Store will be on your right and Mac Aaron's apple house on the left. Turn South (right) onto Clear Creek Road.
